Moth Lillia – League of Legends Skin
A personal fan-art project inspired by Riot Games’ League of Legends and the beautiful moth-inspired skin concept created by Jemmy Brozek https://www.artstation.com/artwork/aYmwKL
.
The goal of this project was to explore a stylized character pipeline closer to Riot’s visual language while adapting the original concept into a fully realized real-time 3D character. I focused on preserving the elegant silhouette, mystical atmosphere, and soft moth-inspired shapes that made the original design so appealing.
This project includes:
High-poly sculpting in ZBrush
Game-ready topology and UVs
Hand-painted / stylized texture workflow
Shader and emissive exploration
In-game style presentation renders
VFX integration and final portfolio composition
Particular attention was given to:
maintaining strong readability from gameplay distance,
creating appealing material separation,
and achieving a painterly stylized finish inspired by League of Legends skins.
The environment presentation and lighting were designed to emulate Riot’s in-game promotional style while keeping the character readable and visually cohesive within Summoner’s Rift-inspired surroundings.
Huge credit to Jemmy Brozek for the original moth skin inspiration and artistic direction behind the concept.
